The Elizabeth J. Miller and Margaret H. Lévis Endowment
Elizabeth J. Miller is a native Seattleite and a lifelong patron of the Northeast Branch of The Seattle Public Library. She proudly received her first yellow library card in 1954 as a third grader at Bryant School.
Margaret H. Lévis was a longtime, beloved French instructor at Nathan Eckstein Middle School and Roosevelt High School.
Over many decades of friendship, they shared a love of books, learning and travel. Gratitude for this decades-long friendship and a mutual love of libraries are the inspiration for establishing The Elizabeth J. Miller and Margaret H. Lévis Endowment.
