About the Library Support Network
The Library Support Network (LSN) began as an initiative of The Seattle Public Library Foundation to strengthen fundraising and advocacy for public libraries. Today, it has evolved into an independent nonprofit organization that connects and equips the people responsible for raising money for public libraries across the United States and Canada.
Through its programs — the International Public Library Fundraising Conference (IPLF Conference), Library Giving Day, and the LSN Community — the Network provides the professional development, shared tools, and peer connections that library fundraisers need to thrive.
LSN exists to ensure every public library has the resources, partnerships, and support it needs to serve its community. Its work reflects a simple but powerful idea: when those who raise money for libraries collaborate, everyone benefits.
Founded by The Seattle Public Library Foundation, the Library Support Network continues to advance the field of library philanthropy and strengthen the ecosystem of support for public libraries everywhere.

International Public Library Fundraising Conference
Since 2017, the International Public Library Fundraising Conference (IPLF Conference) has convened colleagues from across North America for the only annual conference dedicated exclusively to public library fundraising and development.
The conference brings together peers and experts to share ideas, explore challenges, and strengthen the profession of library fundraising.
Now part of the Library Support Network, the IPLFC continues to serve as the premier gathering for fundraisers, library leaders, and boards seeking to increase their impact.

Library Giving Day
Launched in 2019 by The Seattle Public Library Foundation, Library Giving Day has grown into an international movement that unites libraries and their supporters around a single day of giving each April. Nearly 600 libraries now participate, using shared campaign tools, templates, and messages provided free of charge through the Library Support Network.
Together, these efforts have generated millions of dollars in new philanthropic support for local libraries and expanded public awareness of why libraries matter.
