Love Letters to the Library

Show your love for your library this month! From February 1 to 16, the Foundation’s Love Letters to the Library campaign will place festive boxes and cards at 90 bookstores, breweries and bars, cafes, and community hubs around the city. Grab a card, write a note about why you love The Seattle Public Library, and drop it in the box – your love letter will be shared with library staff, displayed in branches, and featured on the Foundation’s website and social media!

Love letters can be written (or drawn!) by anyone, in any language. If you aren’t able to access a participating location, or would prefer to submit online, you can use this form to send a digital love letter.

You can also sign up to receive updates from the Foundation about ways to champion your library. These include advocacy alerts from the Public Library Action Network to speak up for libraries to our policymakers. Personal information will be detached from the cards and not shared, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
